Fire can be enchanting as a precious resource, it can make a scene comfortable or terrifying as a destructive force. Therefore, it is often used as an excellent means of giving emotions to works of art.
At first drawing fire can seem a bit difficult because it doesn't have a fixed/definite structure. However, if you move step by step, it will be exciting and you will succeed!
So let's get started!
Movement is an important factor! We need to show its constant change by working in a static form and using different lines and colors.

Step 1
We define the basis
It is usually oval in shape. The fire will come from here.
Step 2
Fire direction
Now you need to draw a straight line from the center, which will help keep the drawing symmetrical and will allow you not to lose the vertical direction.
We draw the shape of fire along this line. For the most part, it resembles the letter "S" and indicates the direction of fire.
We will also determine where the fire will narrow (approximately ⅔ of the entire height)
Step 3
Form
Within the defined areas, draw a circle (this is the largest and hottest part of the fire)
Now let's draw the base of our fire along the contour of the circle in the direction of the letter "S".
Step 4
It's time to add volume and dynamics!
Draw smaller tongues of flame. Move in the direction of the base increasing the randomness of the lines from the base to the top using the previous "S" rule for direction and different line radii. Make some of them shorter and some longer!
Also, don't be afraid to trim the base in places without losing the overall shape.
Dynamics! That's what we need!
Step 5
More details!
Fire is not a solid object. For better detail, add smaller tongues of flame separate from the main shape.
This will add expressiveness and energy to your image.
Step 6
Color preparation
Make a smaller one in the middle of the shape, which will follow the main one, but not in such detail. This will be the brightest part of the fire.
Step 7
You have the foundation. Now you need to add color.
Fill the main shape with bright orange and the center with bright yellow.
Step 8
Gradient
Make the transition from orange to red and from bright yellow to yellow-hot.
Congratulations! You got the perfect fire illustration!
